Cottage Grove Youth Advisory Council

Applications are now being accepted from 7th through 12th grade aged youth in the community to participate on the Cottage Grove Youth Advisory Council (the YAC). The Youth Advisory Council was formed in 2004 as a way for youth to be involved in local government programs. The youth interact with the Mayor, City Council and City Staff and get involved in issues or activities to meet the needs of youth in the community.
The positions are available on the 2018-19 Youth Advisory Council. The application form and a YAC FAQ sheet is available on the Youth Advisory Council web page at: www.cottagegrove.org/yac. Applications can be turned in to the City Manager's office at City Hall or brought to the YAC Kickoff meeting on September 17th.
The kickoff meeting for the 2018-19 Youth Advisory Council will be on Monday, September 17th at 7:00 pm in the Cottage Grove City Hall. There will be food and an opportunity to meet the Mayor and City Council and existing YAC members.
