H & J Construction will close one lane on 10th Street between Polk and Taylor on Thursday, 01/16. They have a start time of 8:30 am. The lane on the east side will remain open with flagging assistance. They feel confident the work will be done in one day.

Main Street Revitalization Project Update:

On Tuesday January 7th at 2 pm the City of Cottage Grove received and opened bids from five interested parties fir the Main Street Revitalization Project. The lowest bid came from Wildish Construction Co. and will be brought in front of the Cottage Grove City Council on Monday, January 27th  for approval.

City Staff, Branch Engineering and Wildish will meet to discuss the project timeline and the traffic flow. Once the decisions have been made and the Council has approved the bid, the City will schedule another meeting with the business and property owners to discuss the specifics of the project and answer any questions. 

Sanitary Sewer Pipe Bursting Project Updates:

Due to the amount of rain we have experienced, H & J Construction had to delay the start of the project. Currently, they are working on the area between Polk and Taylor with a scheduled completion of January 31st.

The second phase will be the area between Madison and Jefferson. They are scheduled to start the preparatory work the week of January 27th. The scheduled completion will be March 31st.

Phase three will be the area between Jefferson and Adams. This area is scheduled to start on March 21st and complete by April 9th.
