Public Records

Public Records Requests are used to obtain records which include a wide variety of documents and other materials (including print, photographic, and electronic formats) that were prepared, owned, used or retained by a public body and are, at the time the request is filed, in the City's possession and control. 

The City Recorder is the City's Custodian of Records.  To obtain City public records please visit the City's public records portal, NextRequest, to make your request. If you are unable to use the portal, requests by mail, email or in person can be accepted, but will be entered into the portal for processing. For manual submissions, complete the Public Records Request Form and submit it to the City Recorder.
