The City of Cottage Grove is currently accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Planning Commission. The Commissioners are appointed by the City Council. The Planning Commission meets monthly for a Work Session on the 2nd Wednesday and for the Regular Meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers, located at 400 E. Main Street. The Commission is a seven-member, City Council appointed body, that takes action and makes recommendations to the City Council on a variety of current and long-range land use matters. Five of the seven members must live within the City. Commissioners serve a four-year term of appointment.
