The City of Cottage Grove is seeking proposals from prequalified Contractors to provide construction services to complete preventative maintenance repairs to three bridges spanning Silk Creek and the Coast Fork Willamette River. Tasks will include but not be limited to: slope stabilization, backfill, P.C.C. and A.C. trench patch, and all work incidental thereto as set forth in the project plans and specifications.

No hard copy of the bid documents will be available.
Bidders must be pre-qualified with the City of Cottage Grove in accordance with Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) Chapter 279C.430 by submitting either a completed City of Cottage Grove Prequalification form or an Oregon Department of Transportation form on or before 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 4, 2019. Bidders must be prequalified in Preventative Maintenance, Repair and Rehabilitation of roadway bridges. City of Cottage Grove Prequalification forms are available at 400 East Main Street, Cottage Grove, Oregon 97424. You may pre-qualify with the Oregon Department of Transportation at 121 Transportation Building, Salem, Oregon 97310.
A pre-proposal meeting will be held at the Cottage Grove City Hall Council Chambers, 400 E Main Street, Cottage Grove, Oregon, at 10am, Friday, January 18, 2019. The purpose of the meeting is to answer questions about the Project. Meeting attendance is mandatory to submit a bid. Additional documents and or information requests about the Project may be available at the meeting or shortly afterwards.
Proposals must be received no later than January 31, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time at the Cottage Grove City Hall Public Works office. Proposals not received by that time will be rejected as non-responsive and returned unopened. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes and plainly marked on the outside, “Request for Bids – BRIDGE REPAIRS - 2019; Attention: Ryan Sisson, Civil Engineer.” Proposals may be submitted by mail or in person to Cottage Grove City Hall, 400 E Main Street, Cottage Grove, OR 97424. Faxed and emailed proposal will be rejected as non-responsive. A public opening will follow immediately at City Hall.
