The Cottage Grove Armory was designed in the Art Deco style and completed in 1931. It is a two-story cast-in-place concrete structure with decorative precast elements and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The work includes, but is not limited to the complete restoration of the Front Entry and Upper South Chimney of the Cottage Grove Armory, including paint removal, lead abatement, concrete repair, cast stone repairs, repairing and painting of wood trim, repainting of windows, and recoating of the concrete as set forth in the project plans and specifications.

No hard copy of the bid documents will be available.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Cottage Grove City Hall, 400 E Main, Cottage Grove, OR  Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 10:00 AM PST.                         

Proposals must be received no later than March 1, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time at the Cottage Grove City Hall Public Works office.  Proposals not received by that time will be rejected as non-responsive and returned unopened.  Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes and plainly marked on the outside, “Request for Bids –COTTAGE GROVE ARMORY EAST & SOUTH FACADE RESTORATION - 2019;  Attention:  Amanda Ferguson, City Planner.”  Proposals may be submitted by mail or in person to Cottage Grove City Hall, 400 E Main Street, Cottage Grove, OR 97424.  Faxed and emailed proposal will be rejected as non-responsive.  A private opening will follow immediately at City Hall.
