The City of Cottage Grove is now accepting applications for the Fleet & Facilities Manager position. The Manager prepares the general work plans including budget proposals for fleet, facilities, and parks maintenance activities. Operates both light and medium equipment in the maintenance of or improvement to the City fleet, facilities, and parks. Responsible for crew safety, training, deployment and other duties as may be assigned, including all work methods used in the Public Works & Development Department. The Position oversees 5 full time employees, as well as several part-time and seasonal employees. Cottage Grove has just over 244 acres of parks more than 300 items in fleet inventory, and 9 facilities consisting of 18 buildings to maintain.
