The City of Cottage Grove and Creswell received one bid for the Cottage Grove & Creswell 2024 Road Chip Seal Projects. The bid was from Sierra Santa Fe Corporation. The Cottage Grove roads and golf course cart paths projects bid was $825,307.00 and Creswell road chip seal projects bid was $99,470.00 for a total bid of $924,777.00. Both Cottage Grove and Creswell City Council will consider awarding the Bids at their next City Council meeting in July, Cottage Grove Council July 8, 2024 and Creswell on July 10th. Contractors are invited to bid on the City of Creswell’s N 2nd Street, Creswood Dr. and Grlfry Avenue Chip Seal and Onyx Projects and City of Cottage Grove’s S. Gateway Blvd., N. 16th Street, E Whiteaker Avenue, Thornton Lane, S. River Road, S. R Street and Middlefield Golf Course Cart Path Chip Seal Projects. Sealed bids must be received on or before 3:00 p.m., June 27, 2024. Complete bids must be received by the City of Cottage Grove for both Cities, addressed as follows by the closing date and time, or they will be rejected as non-responsive:

Bids will be publicly opened immediately following this closing.
This contract is for a public work subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870, relating to the payment of prevailing wages.
No prequalification will be required for this Project. No pre-bid conference will be held. Interested bidders are encouraged to contact either Public Works Directors Faye Stewart or Cliff Bellew to arrange a tour of the project sites.
The terms, conditions and specifications for this Project (Project Documents) may be examined at the Cottage Grove City Hall at the address listed above and Creswell City Hall at 13 S 1st Street, Creswell, Oregon 97426, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday until June 27, 2024. The Project Documents will be available at the above location and are downloadable from the City of Cottage Grove’s website at https://www.cottagegroveor.gov/ from the date of this Notice until June 27, 2024.
