The City of Cottage Grove is now accepting applications for the Maintenance Worker/Operator-In-Training position at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual who has a background in maintenance, millwright, facilities, pump operation/maintenance or similar experience to join our team! This position performs a variety of tasks necessary to the operation and maintenance of the City’s class 4 Wastewater Treatment Plant capable of treating 12.0 MGD. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the wastewater industry. The City of Cottage Grove's goal is to prepare operators-in-training for the required wastewater testing and provide a pathway to become a certified operator.

Full-time position – 40 hours a week starting at $3675.00 to $5,073.00 DOE.
