Seasonal Maintenance Workers

Seasonal Maintenance Workers perform entry level maintenance tasks in the operation of the
City's facilities, utilities, parks and golf course. The seasonal positions are a great opportunity for
high school students age 16+ looking to gain employment experience.

Opportunity to work 16 hours per week during the month of May and 40 hours per week June
through September 1st.

Pay Rate: $14.20 Per Hour

Preference may be given to applicants who have previously been employed by the City of
Cottage Grove as a Seasonal Maintenance Worker. The City also gives preference to qualified
Veterans.

 

Licenses and other Requirements:

Valid Oregon Driver’s License at time of appointment.

Selection and Interview Process:

The selection process will include: interviews and a reference check.
Applicants 18+ who have been selected for the position will be required to pass a criminal history check (post conditional) prior to final job offer.
