Swinging Bridge Project Design Build Services

The City of Cottage Grove is seeking proposals from qualified Contractors to provide design build services for the design and subsequent reconstruction of the Swinging Bridge crossing the Coast Fork Willamette River between Madison Avenue and River Road in Cottage Grove, Oregon.  The Work will include 35% and 65% design review and Engineer’s Estimates of Construction Costs at each phase; coordination with the City’s City Engineer and support staff; and reconstruction of the Swinging Bridge.

A pre-proposal meeting will be held at Cottage Grove City Hall, 400 E Main Street, Cottage Grove, Oregon, at 3 p.m., December 19, 2018.  The purpose of the meeting is to answer questions about the Project.  Meeting attendance is voluntary.  Additional documents and or information requests about the Project will be available at the meeting or shortly afterwards.

Proposals must be received no later than January 4, 2019, at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.  Proposals not received by that time will be rejected as non-responsive and returned unopened.  Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes and plainly marked on the outside, “Request for Proposals—Swinging Bridge Design-Build Services; Attention:  Ryan Sisson, Civil Engineer.”  Proposals may be submitted by mail or in person to Cottage Grove City Hall, 400 E Main Street, Cottage Grove, OR 97424.  Faxed and emailed proposal will be rejected as non-responsive.  A non-public opening will follow immediately at City Hall. 

No prequalification will be required for submittal of a proposal.  This Contract will be for a public work, subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870.
