NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD
DATE: August 23, 2023
Project Title: Cottage Grove Thornton Road Water Main Extension
TO All BIDDERS:
Based on responses to the recent Invitation to Bid and other information obtained from third-party sources, Wind Rose Excavation has been identified as the lowest responsible, responsive bidder to contract with City of Cottage Grove for the above referenced project. Protests regarding this intent to award will be received by Faye Stewart, Public Works Director at Cottage Grove City Hall, 400 E. Main Street, Cottage Grove, OR 97424, until 5:00pm August 28, 2023. Award will become final on August 28, 2023 or once the City responds to all timely filed protests and affirm the award, whichever is later.
It is the City’s intent to begin negotiations and enter into a contract for these services with Wind Rose Excavation by August 29, 2023. The City would like to finalize the contract no later than September 7, 2023 with approval by the Cottage Grove City Council on August 28, 2023. The contract terms, specifications and conditions were included with the bidding document set.
