Water Treatment Plant Operator-In-Training

The City of Cottage Grove is now accepting applications for the Water Treatment Plant Operator-In-Training position. This is an entry level position for individuals looking to start a career in the water industry that performs tasks necessary to the operation and maintenance of the City’s 4 MGD membrane water treatment plant, storage and water distribution facilities including but not limited to surface water intakes, transmission facilities, reservoirs/storage and distribution water quality monitoring. The treatment plant was upgraded in 2008 and in 2016 received NWMOA Outstanding Membrane Treatment Plant Award.
