Budget Committee Members Needed
Budget Committee Members Needed
The City of Cottage Grove is looking for volunteers to fill four available positions on the Budget Committee. Two of these positions have terms that will expire on December 31, 2027, and the other two will expire on December 31, 2025.
The Budget Committee consists of 14 members, including the Mayor, six elected City Councilors, and seven community members. Each community member is appointed by the City Council and must reside within the city limits and be a registered voter.
The Budget Committee meets as needed during the budget adoption process. The first Budget Committee meeting is tentatively scheduled for May 13, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
Applications are available online at Volunteer Appointment Application and will be accepted until April 21, 2025.
