Providing Comments to Council:

Anyone wishing to comment in person or virtually during Appearance of Interested Citizens for “Items Not on the Agenda” or “Action Items on the Agenda” should sign up using the comment request form available at: https://www.cottagegroveor.gov/citycouncil/webform/october-28-2024-city-council-meeting-comment-request-form  by 5:00 pm on the date of the meeting.  Anyone wishing to comment in person may also sign up on the appropriate form in Council Chambers, before the Presiding Officer calls the meeting to order.  Written comments or testimony may be submitted to cityrecorder@cottagegrove.org or delivered to the City Recorder by 5:00 pm the date of the meeting at 400 E Main Street, Cottage Grove, Oregon.

Appearance of Interested Citizens

This is a time for citizen comment.  The Council will first take comments addressing items not listed on the agenda, for a maximum of 30 minutes. The Council will then take comments addressing action items on the agenda, for a maximum of 30 minutes.

Individual speakers must be recognized by the presiding officer, provide their name, identify whether they are a City resident, and if so, their ward.  Please limit comments to three (3) minutes (or less, with Council approval.)  Comments regarding any matter scheduled for a public hearing may be provided only during that hearing.  The Council will not make any decisions based on public comment; however, Staff and Council may choose to ask questions or comment following the conclusion of citizen comments.
