City Council Meeting and Public Hearing
Calendar Date:
Regularly Scheduled date for City Council Meeting. The agenda for the meeting will be posted by Thursday prior to the meeting. City Council meetings are scheduled for the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. However the City Council may only meet once a month. Occasionally they may not hold a meeting on a scheduled date.
On May 23, 2016 the City Council will be holding a Public Hearing.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Cottage Grove will hold a joint public hearing of its City Council and its Local Contract Review Board regarding adoption of Public Contracting Rules on the 23rd day of May, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at Cottage Grove City Hall, 400 E. Main Street, Cottage Grove, Oregon. The proposed Resolution will replace and update the City’s current Public Contracting Rules and exemptions.
The public hearing will be held for the purpose of taking comments on the City’s draft findings supporting the exemption of certain classes of special procurements and public improvement contracts from competitive bidding requirements.
