The Mayor and City Council offices and the new City Charter will be the local items on the November 4, General Election.
Mayor and City Council Offices
The Mayor, one At-large, Ward 1 and Ward 3 Council seats will be up for election at the November 4, 2014 General Election. Candidacy packets will be available for the positions after June 4, 2014. The deadline for filing by declaration or by completed petition is August 26, 2014 for the November 4, 2014 Election. The City of Cottage Grove November 2014 election candidates are listed below.

Proposed City Charter
On Monday, August 11, 2014 the Cottage Grove City Council placed the the 2014 Cottage Grove Charter on the ballot at the November 4, 2014 election. The Council adopted Resolution 1857 which referred the proposed Charter to the voters.
