The City of Cottage Grove is seeking applicants for three “at-large” positions on the Vision Keepers Committee. One position is for the remaining term of 1 year and two are full term positions (2 years). Applicants will be interviewed and confirmed by the City Council.
The role of the 15 member Vision Keepers Committee is to monitor progress of the Cottage Grove 2037 Vision Action Plan, encourage implementation of actions, provide technical assistance or support where appropriate, produce annual progress reports and recommend minor modifications to the plan as necessary. Membership of the committee is made up of representatives from Lead Partners in the Vision Action Plan, City Council representatives and four at-large members.
Applications are available at City Hall, Community Center or on the City’s webpage. Completed applications should be submitted by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 to Teresa Cowan, Community Coordinator, 400 E. Main Street or email: volunteers@cottagegrove.org.
