The museum is a living and expanding memorial to all miners, and to the rich history of gold mining activities in the Bohemia Mining District. The museum’s collection of photographs, tools, ore samples, and other artifacts pays tribute to the area’s gold mining history.

Cottage Grove Genealogical Society
The Cottage Grove Genealogical Society was organized February 10, 1975 to promote and stimulate interest in genealogy and to collect and preserve genealogical and historical information, especially that pertaining to Cottage Grove and the surrounding areas. The Cottage Grove Genealogical Society is an all-volunteer group. Everyone is a key member doing their very best to continue the interest in genealogy for the benefit of all.

Oregon Aviation Historical Society
The OAHS was originally incorporated in 1983 and over the years has gone through a couple of name changes. We’ve been known as the Oregon Aviation Museum, the Oregon Aviation and Space Museum, and the Oregon Aviation Historical Society. By any name, our mission is the same: to collect, preserve, and restore Oregon related aviation artifacts for interpretive and educational display to insure the preservation of Oregon’s rich aviation heritage for future generations.
Oregon's history and culture are dynamic, and the Encyclopedia is designed to expand and grow as new material is developed and new web-based features are created. Through its website and in communities and classrooms across the state, The Oregon Encyclopedia will be the authoritative and creative resource on all things Oregon—a substantive and lasting recognition of the state's sesquicentennial.
Oregon Experience (Oregon Public Broadcasting)
From historical biographies to issues and events that have shaped our state, “Oregon Experience” is an exciting television series co-produced by OPB and the Oregon Historical Society. The series explores Oregon’s rich past and helps all of us — from natives to newcomers — gain a better understanding of the historical, social and political fabric of our state.
Each show brings to life fascinating characters — both familiar and forgotten — who’ve played key roles in building our state into the unique place we call home.

- Publications of other Oregon entities, including city, county, and tribal governments
- Federal publications that focus on Oregon and the Pacific Northwest
Digital Collections do not include digital copies of all publications in the State Library’s collection.
