$61,200.00 Annually to $83,575.56 Annually (Depending on Qualifications/Certifications)

The City of Cottage Grove Police Department is actively recruiting Entry Level and Lateral Police Officers. COMPENSATION AND INCENTIVES:
Entry Level, Non-Certified Police Officers Starting Pay at $5,100.00 Per Month ($61,200.00 Annually).
Lateral candidates will be offered a base salary to commensurate with experience up to a maximum salary rate. In addition, Police Officers are eligible to receive additional compensation for possessing DPSST certifications:

Intermediate DPSST Certificate-3.5% Advanced DPSST Certificate 7%
Second Language Premium (Spanish/ASL) $800.00 Annual Bonus
Intermediate DPSST Certified Police Officer $6,736.85 Per Month ($80,841.84 Annually)
Advanced DPSST Certified Police Officer $6,964.63 Per Month ($83,575.56 Annually)

 Low deductible Medical plan ($250 deductible per family member).
 Two options for Dental Insurance/with Excellent Orthodontia Coverage.
 Up to $170.00 Per Month Employer Paid HRA Contributions.
 100% Employer Paid PERS Retirement.
 457 Deferred Compensation Optional Retirement Contributions.
 Life Insurance.
 Vacation, Sick Leave, and Holiday Leave. Laterals will accrue leave time commensurate with their years of service.
