2010-2011 Adopted Budget Document
The 2010-2011 Budget was presented as a proposed budget to the Budget Committee on May 18, 2010. The Budget Committee reviewed the entire budget and made some minor modifications prior to approving the budget with a recommendation for adoption to the City Council on May 25, 2010. The 2010-2011 Approved Budget reflects the basic financial plan for the City of Cottage Grove between July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011.
The City Council considered the Approved Budget at the June 28, 2010 City Council meeting. There were two public hearings regarding the Approved Budget.
- A Public Hearing on the proposed uses of State Shared Revenues
State Shared Revenues are the funds that are received from the State of Oregon and are accounted for in the General Fund. In the 2010-2011 Approved Budget the City is budgeted to receive $80,000 from State Revenue Sharing; $112,800 from Oregon Liquor Taxes; and $12,700 from the State cigarette tax. These funds are received into the General Fund of the Budget are used to fund General Fund operations.
- A Public Hearing on the entire 2010-2011 Approved Budget.
After the Public Hearings the City Council considered the 2010-2011 Budget and subsequently adopted the budget document.
