The City of Cottage Grove is accepting applications for a Community Development Director. The position is a department head position that works under the general direction of the City Manager to oversee Land Use Planning, Historic Preservation, Economic Development and Emergency Management and contracted Building Inspection Services for the City. Applicants must have a combination of a Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Community Development, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field, a Masters degree is preferred, with 5 years of local government experience including 2 years of supervisory experience.
Applications must be received by 4:00 pm, Thursday, January 12, 2017.
Annual salary is $73,620 to $93,960 depending on qualifications with excellent benefits.
