Armory Events
Events
The Cottage Grove Armory has been the location of events in the community for over 85 years. In fact the first scheduled community events after it was completed in 1931 were a dance and then a pro-wrestling exhibition.
Over the years the building was used less and less for community events. But now the building is available again, with some limitations for community events. Eventually when the building is restored it will be fully accessible and will be an amazing venue for a variety of special events or activities.
The pictures below show some of the recent events that have been held in the Armory. Lately the Armory has been used for weddings, banquets, indoor soccer, presentation, concerts, birthday parties, dances, film festivals, plays, quinceanera celebrations, sport practices and a model train show. More events are being planned and booked for the space.
