Services:  Rent assistance as funding is available to those who are eligible.  

Cold Weather Shelter Program: Typically available from November 15th–March 31st when temperatures drop below 30 degrees and Egan Warming Centers activate. CCS prioritizes care of unhoused families with minor children by offering shelter in a motel. To sign up call, 541-345-3628 ext. 403. Hours: Monday–Wednesday 8 a.m.–2 p.m., Friday, 8 a.m.–2 p.m. and Thursday, 9 a.m.–2 p.m.

Front Door Assessments: Catholic Community Services offers Front Door Assessments to households experiencing a housing crisis. Front Door Assessments determine eligibility for Lane County’s Centralized Waiting List for access to various housing programs. Services:  Short-term Rescue Shelter offering up to 14 days of shelter. Check-in time of 8 a.m.–4 p.m., daily. Service Animals are welcome. The Eugene Mission works on transitioning guests permanently out of homelessness and back to a healthy community through the transformational programming of Life Change or the R3 Academy.

Services:  Low-barrier emergency access day center for families with children under age 18, experiencing homelessness in Lane County. FPFC addresses basic needs and provides essential social services. Services include: showers, free laundry, food support, community information and referrals, including Front Door Assessments to local and agency Supportive Housing Programs, Internet and phone access, mailing address, clothing vouchers, on-site clothing, hygiene supplies and assistance obtaining identification documents. Eligible families may access the Night Shelter Annex, which offers overnight accommodations, meals, and case management services to support families into self-sufficiency. Services:  Shelter programs. The Eugene Service Station (ESS) is a day shelter that adults experiencing homelessness can use to meet their basic needs. Services:  NEST works with adults experiencing homelessness navigate resources and sign up to receive assistance. Services include: assistance in accessing medical care, case management and advocacy, outpatient drug and alcohol treatment/referrals, therapy, drug detox, mental health counseling and evaluation, SSI/SSDI assisance from a public benefits specialist, Oregon birth certificate requests, transportation to appointments, deposit assistance, navigating housing lists and OHP signup.
