It is Yard Sale Season - tips on how to promote your Yard Sale.
Yard Sales, Garage Sales, Estate Sales are a great way to make a little extra cash and clean out some of that unwanted or needed items in your garage or closet. Going to the sales is also a great way to find some amazing bargains.
But how do you advertise for the sales? You can put an ad in the Sentinel, call KNND Swap and Shop or put up signs. Just like in the Sentinel and on KNND there are rules for the signs. Putting signs for the sales in the public right of way, on street signs, light poles, traffic signs or lights and utility poles is illegal. Any signs illegally placed will be removed. And anyone placing signs illegally can be cited. Signs can be placed on private property (with the property owner's permission of course).
But there is a better way - to advertise your sale. Submit the information for your sale on the form linked below by 3:00 pm Thursday and it be posted on the City's webpage by Friday morning and on a printed listed available at City Hall. Making the location of your sale available not only on paper but also online. It is even mobile friendly so even customers using their cell phones will be guided to your sale. Forget spending the time to make, put up and take down your signs - just provide the information on the form at the link below and guide customers to your sale.
